Feedback on day tour of Santorini

My wife and I just returned from a one week stay in Santorini. On our first full day on the island of Santorini, we took the Santorini Grand Circle Island Tour. Markos was our driver & tour guide and he did a great job of showing us the highlights of Santorini. It was a nice way to learn about Santorini while also helping us see which areas we wanted to visit again later on in our vacation. There were a lot of great photo opportunities and we had ample time at each stop in order to enjoy ourselves. We are glad that we took this tour.

I've been on many trips, using group tour guides or attempting to "wing it" on my research, but the best way to learn about a foreign country is through the eyes and commentary of a local private guide. I will tell you who is the top private tour guide I have ever had. His name is Markos Danasis who raised and lives in Santorini Island in Greece. I hired them for two full days to explore Santorini. He has a new Mercedes sedan which he keeps impeccably clean and always gassed. He is consistently punctual and tailors the itinerary to what you want. He is well-known in the local tourism business as other drivers will greet him or give him a knowing nod. He picked us from our hotel and dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the tour. All prices were very reasonable.
